A brand growth agency hopes to make it two years on the bounce after being shortlisted again as a finalist at the North East Marketing Awards.
The Pulse Rooms, based in North Shields, has been named as a finalist in two categories at this year's awards - 'Brand Creation of the Year (Agency) and 'Campaign of the Year (Under £50k). Just twelve months ago, the company took home the 'Brand Creation of the Year (Agency) crown for its work with CBK Adventures. The annual awards recognise excellence in marketing, digital and PR from all industry sectors.
Andrew Young, Founder and Director, said: "Following on from our success at the awards last year, we are delighted to be shortlisted again alongside some of the region's top creative agencies and professionals. To be named as a finalist in two categories is another landmark achievement for our agency, and we're looking forward to celebrating with our clients on the evening itself."
In the 'Brand Creation of the Year (Agency) category, The Pulse Rooms is recognised for its work with Venture Zero - a new start-up bringing together the areas of mental health and environmental sustainability. Mr Young and his business partner, Harvey Trent, worked with the founders over a 9-month period to develop the brand's value proposition, visual identity, and digital presence. Their efforts have resulted in Venture Zero securing several new client wins and receiving invites to present at a series of high-profile events across the region.
Speaking about the project, Clare Blunt, Director of Venture Zero, said: "When working with The Pulse Rooms, you get so much more than you expect. We thought we needed a logo and a website, but what we actually got was a clear vision and value proposition for the business, which has allowed us to move forward with confidence and clarity."
The Pulse Room's ongoing relationship with CBK Adventures has also bagged another award nomination, this time in the 'Campaign of the Year (Under £50k)' category for 'Chill Out With CBK'. The goal of the multi-channel campaign was to actively promote outdoor experiences through the winter period. Across the six months, the campaign generated an additional £31,000 of revenue, enabling the business to retain two full-time instructors throughout the season. It also garnered interest from top-tier media, with coverage in The Telegraph, The Observer, and Best Magazine.
Simon Laing, Managing Director of CBK Adventures, said: "The Pulse Rooms were critical in the success of this campaign, as they offered substantial expertise in the field of marketing and communications, as well as a proven track record with the branding work we had undertaken with them in 2020."
The winners of this year's North East Marketing Awards will be announced on 1 December at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead.
